Karoa Cara Distilling Co

is a new boutique sized, owner operated craft distillery situated in Ballito KZN. Our Distilling journey started in 2018 and after going through all the red tape and lock down we are officially ready to launch our Spirits to the world. Gin being our first to launch it will soon be followed by a range of newly crafted Spirits including rum, vodka, brandy and whiskey

We pride ourselves on hand crafting small batch spirits of exceptional quality and character and are therefore proud to introduce you to Karoa Cara WHITE, a perfectly balanced Gin robust in flavour and full bodied enough to stand up to a G&T smooth and complex enough to sip neat or enjoy in cocktails. We distill slowly to make sure that we extract maximum flavour and essential oils from the botanicals. The distilled gin rests for a while to let the flavours come together before being blended with filtered water and bottled here at the distillery. NO artificial flavours or colours are added, using only the freshest organically grown botanicals giving you an expertly crafted Gin. When mixed with tonic and ice the botanical oils are released creating a stunning pearlescent cloud, hence the name WHITE.
